Welcome and thank you for your interest in the Canal Quarters Program! Through generous donations, and in close partnership with the National Park Service, seven lockhouses along the C&O Canal have been rehabilitated. These are available for you, your family, and friends to enjoy for up to three nights. All proceeds are used to fund the maintenance and stewardship of these historic structures, along with educational programming and outreach. Thank you for your support!
Each of our seven lockhouses are themed for a specific part of the Canal’s history. All houses can accommodate up to 8 overnight guests. Limited place settings, kitchen utensils, cookware, and cleaning supplies are provided. Make sure to bring your own linens!
Before you book, please review our Frequently Asked Questions to learn more about the Canal Quarters program and what to expect during your stay.
