The C&O Canal Trust’s challenge-focused, peer-to-peer fundraiser TowpathGO! officially launched on May 29 with over 60 participants. During this 50th Anniversary year of the Park, participants have challenged themselves to take on a combined total of nearly 4,000 miles hiking, running, and riding. This is not a typical ride or run – participants set their course!

Rallying support from family, friends, colleagues, and other Park lovers, TowpathGO! participants will complete their challenges and raise funds to ensure the Park we love remains beautiful, safe, and welcoming into the future. Participants have pledged to raise over $40,000 by the challenge culmination on July 10.
