Indigo Neck Campground


This campground is well positioned for exploring parks and state forests in the area.

Just a mile and a half downstream of the small town of Little Orleans, Indigo Neck campground is located on the southeastern tip of the expansive Green Ridge State Forest, with opportunities for hiking, off-road vehicles, fishing, boating and horseback riding. Cacapon State Park in West Virginia is also nearby.

The free overnight campground itself provides overnight visitors with a portable toilet, picnic table, grill, and water source. The site has a good view of Sideling Hill in West Virginia. It’s over a mile to the nearest vehicle access.

Please Note: Potable water may not be available at each campsite. Water is treated with iodine. Please plan to have water purification tablets with you. Water is turned off from November 15 to April 15 each year.
