Glen Echo Park preserves many of its unique features from its past when it served as a National Chautauqua Assembly arts center and later as an amusement park. Visitors can ride the historic Dentzel Carousel, dance in the beautifully restored Spanish Ballroom, or participate in one of the many art classes offered. Walk upstream from Lockhouse 6 to mile 7.6 and take the footbridge across to MacArthur Boulevard. Glen Echo Park is approximately half a mile down MacArthur, toward Washington.
