Located at 40 West Potomac Street, the Visitor Center's exhibits depict canal history. Two free movies are available for viewing - Charles Kuralt's overview of the canal, and "Down the Old Potomac," showing actual footage of the C&O Canal in action in 1917. Park and area history is available from helpful staff. Free.
