This is where Clara Barton, the founder of the American Red Cross, lived for the last 15 years of her life. The Red Cross was housed here from 1896-1904. The site is free and open to the public for tours from 10am to 4pm. Tours show Red Cross history and artifacts from the time when Barton lived there.
