Beans in the Belfry is a café located in a restored church. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner all day as well as fresh baked goods, coffees, and teas. Beans in the Belfry sources their organically grown and fair trade coffee beans from Dublin Roasters of Frederick County. The warm and comfortable ambiance is made up of stained glass windows and plenty of lounge chairs and couches. The children’s corner has a costume trunk for dress-up, children’s books, games, and toys. They host various jam sessions, open mics, and jazz brunches throughout the week. At mile marker 55, take S. Maple St. for .1 miles and turn left on W. Potomac St. Continue for .1 miles, and Beans in the Belfry will be on your left.

Much of the C&O Canal National Historical Park remains accessible to the public, however, the National Park Service is not able to operate as normal. Scheduled C&O Canal Trust events and Canal Quarters reservations will continue as scheduled.
