Join us at the Open House for Swains Lockhouse, June 25-26, from 1pm-4pm each day. Be one of the first to view the interior of this historical gem in the C&O Canal National Historical Park. See and hear first-hand about the preservation process and what it takes to bring a lockhouse back to life.
Swains will be representative of the 1920s era of life along the C&O Canal and will become the seventh lockhouse in the award-winning Canal Quarters program.
