Vehicle Access is in the Lock 25 parking lot, at the end of Edward’s Ferry Road. 

Towpath users will find the house directly on the path at Lock 25. 

From I-495: Continue North past either Chevy Chase, or Cabin John, depending on your direction. Take exit 39 and merge onto MD-190/River Road toward Potomac. Turn right on W Willard Rd. Continue for 2 miles, then turn left on W Offut Rd. After 1 mile, make a right to stay on W Offut Rd. Continue until you reach Edwards Ferry Rd., then take a left. Edwards Ferry Road will end.

From Parking Lot: A short bridge at the end of Edwards Ferry Road will lead to the boat ramp parking lot. The lockhouse is to the right of the bridge. You may park in the lot.
