River Bottom Park

This was the site of the original Potomac River ferry crossing at Williamsport. In 1863, Confederate soldiers under General Imboden used Lemons Ferry to transport prisoners and the wounded during the retreat from Gettysburg. Today, Riverbottom Park has a boat ramp to the Potomac for fishing, picnic tables, and open space for softball, kickball, or volleyball.
