Lockhouse 28 is one of the Canal Quarters lockhouses, open to visitors to experience life as a lock keeper through overnight stays. Each lockhouse in the Canal Quarters program is furnished in a different time period and tells a different story of the canal. Lockhouse 28 focuses on the competition between the B&O Railroad and the C&O Canal and emphasizes the fight over Point of Rocks.
