Registration for this workshop has closed. 								\n				\n									Calling all Junior and Cadette Girl Scouts! 								\n				\n									Join the C&O Canal Trust at the C&O Canal National Historical Park\, Carderock Recreation Area in Potomac\, MD\, and earn your Eco Camper (Juniors) or Eco Trekker (Cadettes) badge. During this workshop\, Girl Scouts will discover how to enjoy the outdoors while protecting the environment. Through hands-on activities\, they’ll learn the principles of Leave No Trace\, explore ways to reduce their impact on nature\, and practice skills for safe\, responsible recreation. We will be taking a hike on the Billy Goat Trail- Section C (moderate intensity\, approximately 3 miles total).   								\n					\n		\n					\n		\n				\n						\n					\n			\n						\n									Date: Saturday\, March 28\, 2026 Time: 10 am – 2 pm Check-in begins at 9:30 AM Location: Carderock Recreation Area at the C&O Canal National Historical Park in Potomac\, MD 20854 Cost: $10 per participating child  Who Can Attend? Junior & Cadette Girl Scouts\, Family and Friends (We ask that every party has at least one adult chaperone). What to Bring/Wear? Comfortable\, weather-appropriate clothing & walking shoes with a back. Dress in layers!
