At any given time, there are dozens of projects underway in the C&O Canal NHP that will affect, and ultimately improve, visitors’ experiences.  With nearly 4 million visitors each year, entering from countless access points, and more historic structures than any other national park in the country, the challenges of managing the C&O Canal are immense.
